Glades Utility Services’ state of the art safety program has been built around our motto:

Safety, Learn it, Live it, Love it.

GUS believes that safety is greater through numbers and since a Safety Director cannot be at every crew all the time, our upper management has placed a Safety Coordinator to oversee the program while having the Distribution and Transmission Supervisors responsible for their crew’s safety. Then, to extend the reach of promoting safety, the crew foremen are trained to be the eyes and ears on the job sites.

Glades Utility Services’ safety program takes much pride in the fact that not only do we meet OSHA standards but we surpass them. GUS achieves this through monthly inspections, individual and group training, daily jobsite safety meetings, as well as an emphasis on documentation. This unique safety program enables GUS to provide our employees and customers not only a safe work environment, but also a piece of mind that value of safety is placed well above our bottom line.
