L. T. (Tommy) Todd
President and CEO


Tommy Todd has been in the electric utility business for 38 years. For the past thirteen years, he has served as General Manager and CEO of Glades Electric Cooperative, Inc. in Moore Haven, FL. Additionally, for the past ten years, Tommy has served as President of Glades Utility Services, Inc. (GUS). In May 2009, the Board of Directors of GUS, added CEO to his title and placed him in charge of all operations. Tommy brings years of successful experience to managing the business end of GUS. His strategic planning, organizational and business skills are the product of those 38 years in the business. Additionally, Tommy’s skills were further honed by serving as President of the United States Jaycees in 1984. Tommy utilizes a strong delegation and verification management style with great emphasis placed on doing the little things right and exhibiting teamwork at all levels of the organization. He has brought a new and completely different “business approach” to conducting our business. It also emphasizes to every single employee that besides safety, our number one priority is our customers.


Leonard Lundy
General Manager


Leonard Lundy, with over 40 years experience in the field of power line construction, holds the position of General Manager for Glades Utility Services, Inc. His field experience ranges from a lineman to inspector/foreman to supervisor. Leonard has held certifications in the following areas; bare hand work, transmission substations, and as a GOAB switch specialist. Leonard has done an admirable job within his capacity as General Manager. By building strong relationships not only with GUS customers, but, also with those within the company who are responsible for keeping the daily operations possible, he has become a solid foundation for this company and its future.


Brian Rhymes
Distribution Superintendent


Brian’s career in this field first started in September 2004 where he began as a ground man on an underground crew. It was just six short months later that he became an apprentice lineman working in overhead/underground new construction and maintenance. In September of 2005 Glades Utility Services, Inc. gave him the opportunity to become a second year apprenticed lineman, a position which he held for two years before becoming a lineman and foreman on a new construction/maintenance crew working in overhead/underground construction. In October of 2008, he became the Distribution Superintendent for Glades Utility Services, Inc. (GUS) and presently holds this position. Brian is committed to doing his part in maintaining its strong work ethics and principled values.


Chris Moore
Transmission Superintendent


In 1988 Chris Moore began his career in line construction as a ground man working his way up to a Lineman position in just three years. For the past 10 years, Chris has been a foreman as well as a supervisor for both distribution and transmission crews. Since joining the Glades Utility Services, Inc. team in 2007 he has obtained and currently holds the position of Transmission Superintendent. Along with extensive field experience, Chris is also certified in Live Line Bare Hand work, and also strives to keep safety as a first priority. 
 

Scott Todd
Corporate Services Supervisor
  

Scott Todd has been employed by Glades Utility Services, Inc. since 2008. He currently serves as Corporate Services Supervisor. His primary responsibilities include Safety, Fleet, Warehousing and Purchasing. Scott is not only OSHA Certified; he is a Certified Trainer in First Aid, CPR, AED and Bloodborne Pathogens along with being certified to Teach MOT flagging. Aside from his certifications, Scott brings years of management experience to GUS. His strengths such as discipline, planning, time management and people skills were further developed while managing operations in two previous businesses. Scott is a graduate of Central Alabama College where he was an All-American golfer and then went on to play on the NGA Hooters’ Tour.

 
Courtney F. Brown
Director of Accounting


Courtney was first employed at Glades Utility Services, Inc. as Office Manager and in September of this year was promoted to Director of Accounting. Courtney has been a dedicated employee of Glades Utility Services, Inc. since 2004. She provides leadership and experience in her management of the office team. Courtney brings close to 10 years of experience in the administrative, accounting and management fields. Her many years of service have allowed her to grow and mature with this company.


Jody Dotson
Executive Vice President


Jody Dotson is Executive Vice President and Qualifying Agent of Glades Utility Services. He has 23 years experience in the electric utility industry in the areas of distribution, transmission and substation construction and maintenance. He previously served as General Manager of Glades Utility Services during 2003 – 2005. Jody also holds the position of Power Supply Manager at Glades Electric Cooperative, Inc. where he is responsible for planning, budgeting, and supervising transmission and distribution construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting. He also supervises the GEC safety program and vegetation management.
